Creating Teams

Teams are central to Yalla. You are able to separate teams based on department and specialty if you’d like. For instance, say you’re a 20 person company. You can have everyone be apart of just one team, or you can create multiple teams such as executives, accounting, marketing, development, etc.

To do this:

  1. Hover over the “Me” text on your main navigation
  2. Click on “settings”
  3. Click on the “Teams” tab
  4. Give the team a name.
  5. Select the users that you’d like to be on the team
  6. Hit “create”

Your team will now be created. You can repeat the process for as many teams as you’d like to create. If you do create teams, and a person is not assigned to a team, they will show up in a team called “Unassigned.”

You are also able to expand and collapse teams based on your visual preferences.

One thing to keep in mind is that you can actually assign priorities to the “Team” as a whole. If you don’t have a specific person to assign a priority to, then you can just dump it on to the team board and let that team deal with it.

Feel free to rearrange the teams on the right side of your screen by dragging and dropping them into place.
