Chat With A Contact of a Client (Guest)

We’ve created a simple video tutorial on how to chat with a contact of a client. If you’d prefer to see images and text, scroll down and enjoy!

We’ve made it easy for you to chat with your clients. This is great for easy quick communication between your team and clients. It gives your team a more intimate communication platform from which to interact with your clients.

You can chat with clients by clicking on the “Discuss” button from the client overview screen. It should look like this.

From there you will be able to press the blue “Add New Topic” button which will create a new chat thread. You will want to add a “Topic” or “name of discussion”. From there, you can type in the message field to get a chat started!

When chatting within the “Discuss” tab your messages will be sent to the entire team assigned to that client, as well as the guests that are associated with that client.

From there, chatting is fun and simple! Send GIFs, sounds, and of course the important messages that need to get across to your clients and guests.

A Chat thread should look something like this.

We also wanted to make it easy for you to see when your attention is needed to interact with your clients. When a client sends you a message, a big red “Attention” button will show up next to the discussion thread indicating that they were the last ones to send you a message, and you still have not answered.

You’ll notice in the above picture that the “Website project” is the only chat thread with this red button. That is telling me that someone from my team was the last to send a message for the first two discussions, but the client was the last to send a message in the “website project” discussion, we built this notification to remind you to not leave your clients hanging.
